I woke up at close to 3AM at my camp on Mount Rainier. I could not get back to sleep, so I decided to drive to Reflection Lake and wait for the sunrise there.
I was glad to be the first person to arrive because it allowed me to pick the best spot for myself. As it turns out, only one other person arrived to take pictures and he was pretty content just sitting in a single spot. I, on the other hand, did not have the patience to remain still, so I walked around to various spots to try different angles.
This image is blended from 2 different RAW files. I used the longer exposure for the water and tree area and the shorter exposure for the mountain and sky.
